‘Women have been central to Hauser & Wirth since its inception and play a vital role in shaping how we experience and engage with art daily. On International Women’s Day, we continue to celebrate women who consistently push beyond conventions and inspire the next generation’s vision for the future.’—Manuela Wirth

In Our Galleries

From leading contemporary voices to modern masters, explore exhibitions by women artists currently on view at our galleries worldwide.

Rita Ackermann, Courtney Martin, Julie Mehretu, Kiki Smith and Martha Tuttle reflect on the expressive power of Pat Steir’s work as one of the most original and impactful contemporary painters.

In Residence

Next month, we will welcome Firelei Báez as artist-in-residence at our Somerset gallery. For more than a decade our immersive residency program has provided artists with an extended period in Bruton, to draw inspiration from Durslade Farm, the local culture and surrounding landscape.

‘As artists we should shout out about the most important issues around us. Don’t speak in a low voice. Shout.’—Luchita Hurtado
