Join Hauser & Wirth London throughout October to celebrate The Big Draw Festival 2023 theme ‘Drawing with Senses’ in response to the exhibition ‘Avery Singer. Free Fall.’
Continuing Hauser & Wirth’s annual partnership with The Big Draw, this interactive experience asks you to think about how your senses conjure up individual or collective memories and emotions and then transform them into something physical.
Visit the gallery from Tuesday to Saturday between 10 am and 6 pm to leave your personalised recordings, drawings and creative writing in our Education Lab. Advance booking is not required.
This event is part of the gallery’s global learning program with events across our locations in Somerset, London, Menorca, Los Angeles, New York and Chililda Leku. All participants will be invited to submit their audio recordings to our Learning team to be part of this project throughout The Big Draw Festival period in October. Please be aware that only a small selection will be uploaded to our website.

About The Big Draw Festival
The Big Draw is the world’s largest drawing festival with thousands of drawing activities connecting people of all ages with museums, outdoor spaces, artists, designers, illustrators and each other. The Big Draw theme for 2023, ‘Drawing with Senses’, changes the focus from external to internal, exploring the way we personally process the world and internalise our experiences through our senses.
