Opening Reception: ‘Walking the Wild’ and ‘every somewhere’

Join us to celebrate the opening of two new exhibitions at Make Hauser & Wirth Somerset: ‘Walking the Wild’ featuring Stuart Cairns and Mark Reddy and ‘every somewhere’ featuring Ash and Plumb, Lizzie Farey, Naomi Mcintosh and Maria Sigma.

Tickets are free and include a welcome drink. Advance booking is recommended.

Both exhibitions will be on view at Make Hauser & Wirth Somerset from Saturday 23 September – Saturday 18 November 2023.

About ‘Walking the Wild’
This exhibition presents works that are found, foraged and reframed, sculptural forms that hold time and meditative memory, echoing the past and questioning the present.

About ‘every somewhere’
This exhibition returns to themes of place and local distinctiveness explored through wood, textile and organic materials. The featured artist-makers share an instinctive approach to making through lived experience, ordering and composing nature into new forms.
