Family Garden Workshop: DIY, How to Clean Green

Learn about nontoxic green cleaning and how to create DIY supplies with educators from the Garden School Foundation. This month’s workshop will enable participants to have a self-starter approach to natural cleaning equipped with recipes comprised of easily sourced natural ingredients. Participants of all ages will take home product samples and recipes for additional DIY workshopping and cleaning at home.

The Garden School Foundation provides garden-based education to children at eight Title 1 elementary schools across Los Angeles. They take a holistic approach to teaching, gardening, cooking and environmental sustainability through an in-depth Seed to Table and Cafeteria to Compost programs along with regular Community Garden Days and school- based free Farmers Markets.
