Family Garden Workshop: Winter Crops in Container Gardens

This Winter, get your green thumb ready with educators from the Garden School Foundation. Join us for a workshop to create winter container gardens using upcycled materials. Learn everything you need to know about growing winter crops in small spaces.

The Garden School Foundation provides garden-based education to children at eight Title 1 elementary schools across Los Angeles. They take a holistic approach to teaching, gardening, cooking and environmental sustainability through an in-depth Seed to Table and Cafeteria to Compost programs along with regular Community Garden Days and school- based free Farmers Markets.
