A Walk on the Wild Side: A Family walk to Marydown Copse with Martin Maudsley Join professional storyteller, Martin Maudsley, for a very special Family Saturday. The morning will be filled with story-telling and story-making inspired by the wildlife and wild landscapes around Hauser & Wirth Somerset. Gathering in the gallery, we will get inspired by images and artwork before setting off on an enchanting walk through the wild woods, uncovering tales of birds, beasts and trees. We’ll also take time to make mini-dens in the woods and create our own wild tales at the end of the session. Start Location: Implement Shed End Location: Implement Shed Please meet at 10 am at the Implement Shed at Hauser & Wirth Somerset and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. This is a free event, but must be booked in advance. This event has now sold out – Walk & Talk is a series of free events inspired by our current exhibitions ‘Don McCullin. The Stillness of Life’ and ‘Not Vital. SCARCH’. Embark on an inspiring walk through the local landscape with different specialists. Discover the history, folklore and hidden gems of Bruton town and Durslade Farm, learn how artists capture the changing seasons, and reflect on the ethos of the countryside with independent retailers and residents.
