Held at MoMA PS1 in Long Island City, the 2019 Printed Matter's New York Art Book Fair will host 369 exhibitors from 31 countries, including a broad range of artists and collectives, small presses, institutions, galleries, antiquarian booksellers, and distributors. Over the course of four days, Printed Matter’s NY Art Book Fair provides more than 100 free conversations, workshops, performances, and other artist-led programs. Fair programs also include curated exhibitor sections, publication-focused exhibitions, and signings and launches of new books. Visit Hauser & Wirth Publishers at booth G01 to discover titles that range from traditional exhibition catalogs to artists’ books as well as publications of primary source materials and collections of writings. Each of these books seeks to encourage understanding about contemporary art and bring new, sometimes overlooked, aspects of an artist’s creative practice into focus. Highlights include Eva Hesse: Oberlin Drawings, Arshile Gorky: The Plow and the Song: A Life in Letters and Documents, A Luta Continua: The Sylvio Perlstein Collection, and Resilience: Philip Guston in 1971.
