Geta Brâtescu and Stefan Brüggemann Audio Description Tour

  • Mon 8 – Tue 9 April 2019
  • 4.30pm

Visually impaired visitors and their companions are invited to join audio describer Caroline Dawson for a tour of ‘Geta Brâtescu. The Power of The Line’ and ‘Stefan Brüggemann. HYPER-PALIMPSEST’ at Hauser & Wirth London.

‘Geta Brătescu. The Power of the Line’ features an important body of works from the past decade, during which time Brătescu focused predominantly on working with the line as a structuring principle.

Stefan Brüggemann takes the title of the exhibition, ‘HYPER-PALIMPSEST’, as a point of departure. The resulting site-specific installation creates an immersive space for active reflection by allowing layers of political and cultural history to be overlaid with the artist’s timeless and iconic text statements.

Gallery chairs and refreshments will be provided. Hearing support equipment will not be available for this event. If you have access needs of which you would like to make us aware please contact us here: cajame@hauserwirth.com or 0207 255 8261
