Join us for a very special harvest dinner celebration with Hauser & Wirth Somerset's current artist-in-residence, Matthew Day Jackson.
‘No Thanks / Thanksgiving' is Jackson's antithesis to the traditional American celebration and will be an immersive evening filled with performance, food, drink, and gratitude. Working with the team at Roth Bar & Grill, he has devised a delicious three course feast that champions local Somerset producers and pays tribute to the ingredients' international origins.
Working alongside curator's Carrie Scott and Tom Morton, the evening will be punctuated with interactive experiences with artists and collaborators, including Charles Avery, DJ Paul Owen, Heather Phillipson, Laura Seymour, Anj Smith, Walter & Zoniel, Yonder, Doug Fishbone, and Somerset Cider Brandy.
Guests will be able to take home artist objects created especially for the night, including a ceramic grappa cup by Laura Seymour and a placemat by Anj Smith.
Menu – includes three course feast, a glass of wine and Durslade Farm ‘grappa’
Durslade Farm pears from our orchard griddled over the fire with Somerset honey, Dorset Blue Vinney, walnuts and fennel
