August’s Family Saturday will be all about Jenny Holzer. Beginning with a tour of the exhibition ‘Softer Targets’, we will investigate all of the different methods the artist uses to create her work, recording our findings in handmade sketchbooks. We will then focus on Holzer’s series, Truisms. We will create our own truisms, choosing from a variety of formats to display them, such as carving and stencil.
