Join us for a two-part workshop led by instructors from Piece by Piece, the local nonprofit that supports the Skid Row and South L.A. communities through art programming, and Tashanda Giles-Jones and Elizabeth Hall of Garden School Foundation. The first activity will engage families in an immersive learning experience about garden pollinators. Next, to compliment the pollinator activity, families will use colorful, recycled pieces of ceramic and stained glass to create mosaic flowers. About Garden School Foundation Garden School Foundation is responsible for the teaching gardens at the 24th Street School in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles, along with six other Title I Elementary Schools across the city.
