On the occasion of the benefit ‘Artists for New York,’ on view at Hauser & Wirth's New York galleries and online, the gallery hosted an online conversation between Jasmine Wahi, Holly Block Social Justice Curator at The Bronx Museum and artists Derrick Adams and Sanford Biggers. Framed around revisioning and rewriting American histories, the discussion included a dialogue about how artists shape society through their work, as well as the impact we all have in civil engagement, especially in light of the upcoming election.

On the occasion of the benefit 'Artists for New York,' that launched online and in our New York galleries in October 2020, we hosted an online screening of two films by artists Joan Jonas and Mika Rottenberg, that was followed by an intimate discussion with Sally Tallant, President and Executive Director of The Queens Museum in Queens, New York.

On the occasion of ‘Lygia Pape. Tupinambá,’ the gallery hosted an online conversation exploring the Brazilian artist Lygia Pape's rarely seen Tupinambá series with Hammer Museum chief curator Connie Butler and Mexico City-based curator Julieta González.

On the occasion of Zeng Fanzhi’s new publication, we join Fabrice Hergott, Tim Marlow and Wenny Teo in conversation to explore the work and contemporary context of the renowned Chinese artist. This book, entitled ‘Zeng Fanzhi,’ by Hauser & Wirth Publishers features texts by David Anfam and Fabrice Hergott.

On the occasion of the exhibition ‘Rita Ackermann. Mama ‘20’ currently on view at Hauser & Wirth Zürich, and in anticipation of the release of Hauser & Wirth Publishers new monograph for the exhibition, we joined artist Rita Ackermann along with Curator Gianni Jetzer for a live virtual walkthrough and conversation.

On the occasion of the benefit ‘Artists for New York,’ that launched online and in our New York galleries in October 2020, we hosted a virtual discussion around ideas of contemporary landscape painting in a time of limited horizons with Laura Hoptman, Executive Director of The Drawing Center, and artists Josh Smith and Mary Weatherford.

On the occasion of his first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, artist Nicolas Party is in conversation with art and culture journalist Aaina Bhargava to discuss his exploration into the complex and ever-changing relationship between man and nature, ‘sampling’ in the context of the confluence of sources he draws from, and the evolution of his distinctive aesthetic.

The International Curatorial Residency 2019, ‘Curating Private Art Collections’, coincided with the exhibition ‘Unconscious Landscape. Works from the Ursula Hauser Collection’ and presented five curators who oversee international private collections. The programme culminated in a public symposium entitled ‘Curating Private Art Collections’.

On the occasion of ‘Anj Smith: Where the Mountain Hare has Lain,’ we joined the artist, Alexander V. Petalas, the Founder, The Perimeter, London and Yates Norton, Curator at the Roberts Institute of Art in conversation.

On the occasion of ‘Gustav Metzger’ at Hauser & Wirth Somerset, we joined Hélène Guenin, director of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Nice (MAMAC), Mathieu Copeland, curator, and Alexandre Devals, director of the Venet Foundation for an in-dept conversation on Metzger’s practice.
