This documentary on Max Bill moves between the dynamic fields of art, aesthetics and politics. Max Bill was one of the most important Swiss artists of the 20th century, as well as one of the most renowned students to come out of the legendary Bauhaus school in Dessau. He was an ardent anti-fascist and his work as an avant-garde artist, sculptor, architect and typographer demonstrated a social responsibility and awareness throughout his career.
