Join us at Hauser & Wirth's new West 18th Street location for a group drawing session led by illustrator and muralist Josh Cochran.
During this session, Cochran will guide participants of all skill levels through drawing exercises featuring a live model. Previous illustration and life drawing experience is not required. This event is free to attend, and advance registration is required.
Paper will be provided, but please come prepared with your favorite pencils, pens, and markers. Please note that pastels, charcoal, and wet media such as paint, ink, and watercolor are currently prohibited in the Hauser & Wirth amphitheater.
About the Facilitator
Originally from California and Taiwan, Josh Cochran is an illustrator and muralist living in Brooklyn. He has received a Grammy nomination for album art. An avid traveler and marathon-runner, Josh also teaches at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. He has worked with companies like Adidas, Apple, Criterion Collection and The New Yorker. His installations and murals can be seen at places like The New York Transit Museum, Lea Elementary School 3rd floor in West Philly and off Pearl Street at the Asian Arts Initiative.
