We are one of the leading international galleries for contemporary art, with locations in Gstaad, Hong Kong, London, Menorca, Monaco, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Somerset, St. Moritz, and Zurich. For our Zurich location, we are looking for an art-savvy, dedicated, and organized individual to join us as Library Manager 100% (m/f/d). We are seeking an engaged individual who will take care of our libraries with enthusiasm and precision. With a special talent for organization and a keen interest in modern and contemporary art, you will support our teams in a versatile and dynamic role.

Library Activities:

  • Maintenance and organization of our libraries, book displays and giveaway books across multiple locations in Switzerland.

  • Support for various departments with book research, shipping, and procurement of new books for the primary and secondary markets.

  • Management and inventory control of giveaway books on Shopify.

  • Coordination and execution of book transportation within Switzerland.

  • Cataloging of books in the database and ensuring accurate information on library holdings across all relevant locations.

  • Conducting research in external libraries and managing scans.

  • Organizing books for fairs in Switzerland, for sales-related meetings, openings and presentations at our locations in Zurich, Gstaad, St. Moritz and Basel.

  • Introducing new employees to library systems and serving as the main contact person for all book-related inquiries at our Swiss locations.

  • Interest in Books and Art: For you, books are more than just objects—they

    are essential tools and a passion that you share with us.

  • Technical Expertise: You are proficient with Mac, MS Office, and have

    experience working with databases.

  • Language Skills: Excellent German and English skills, both written and

    spoken; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Education and Experience: A completed education or degree, ideally related

    to art, literature, or library sciences, is advantageous.

  • Personality: You are service-oriented, detail-focused, resilient, and always

    maintain a positive attitude in your interactions with others.
