In partnership with Bristol Old Vic, Hauser & Wirth Somerset is delighted to announce the return of the hugely successful Bristol Old Vic Youth Theatre Summer School in August.
This is an incredible opportunity for young people interested in drama and performing arts to work with professional directors to create an original piece of theatre. The summer school is available to young people aged between 11 – 16 years.
Taking inspiration from the exhibition ‘Henry Moore. Sharing Form’, participants will devise a new play told through movement, music and theatre.
The summer school will run Monday – Friday, 10 am – 5 pm between 1 – 12 August, culminating in public performances on 11 and 12 August. Please note that there is a subsidised fee of £160 for the two-week course.
We ask that all participants are dropped off and picked up from the gallery by a responsible adult. Please inform us if you have given permission for your child to travel to and from the gallery on their own. Children should bring a packed lunch, snacks and drinks.
