‘Rita Ackermann. Brother and Sister’: Live Music Exhibition Walkthrough with More Than Classic

To coincide with the exhibition ‘Rita Ackermann. Brother and Sister’, Hauser & Wirth is delighted to invite you to a live music performance with the Zurich-based music collective, More Than Classic. More Than Classic have collaborated with Rita Ackermann to create a special live music programme dedicated to ‘Brother and Sister’ by choosing 14 of the displayed paintings and pairing them with music. The resulting concert will walk the audience through the exhibition and invite them to a new experience of Ackermann's works.

Hungarian music and musicians will play an important role in the programme, reflecting Ackermann’s roots. The gallery is also delighted to welcome four of Zurich's renowned musicians to perform: violinists Irina Pak and Josef Gazsi, both members of the Tonhalle Orchestra, Sorin Spasinovici, viola, rising star of ZhdK and Alain Schudel, cello, one of Switzerland's star soloists and from Duo Calva. Dorothy Yeung will be the narrator for the evening.

The performance will finish at 7.15 pm and will be followed by an aperitif.
